Syllabus
An academic course syllabus is a document that contains the plan and programme of study for a particular course. It is created by the person teaching and made available at the beginning of the semester. Its purpose is to provide clear guidelines for the subject, to help those studying to understand the expected outcomes, the organisation of the course and to enable assessment of learning progress. Amongst other things, the person teaching the course provides information about the compulsory literature, the planned colloquia and the form of credit.
