Strong position of Warsaw University of Life Sciences in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking
SGGW has made significant progress in the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. In the overall ranking, the university was placed in the 801-1000 range (compared to the 1001+ range last year). SGGW was ranked highest under Objective 17. “Partnerships for Purposes” ranking between 101 and 200 (the Gdansk University of Technology and the University of Gdansk were also in the same bracket).
SGGW also strengthened its position in three other Sustainable Development Goals. The University was ranked ex aequoz the University of Lodz, the highest in the country, within ‘Life on Land’ (ranked 201-300). SGGW is also one of two Polish universities (the other being the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław) that has been classified under the Objective 2. “Zero Hunger” (item from 201-300). This is the first time the school has been classified under the Objective 3. ‘Good Health and Quality of Life’ (item range 601-800).
The results achieved are a confirmation of SGGW’s strong position in the field of ‘sustainability’ and the ‘green revolution’ taking place on its premises.
