A key strength of the postgraduate programme in Agribusiness and Climate Management is that it meets the requirements set out in the Act on the Development of the Agricultural System Article 6(2)(2) and the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 17 January 2012, § 4, concerning agricultural qualifications. Graduates of postgraduate programmes are eligible to purchase agricultural land and obtain farming licences enabling them, amongst other things, to: purchasing land, setting up a farm, and receiving subsidies and grants.
Graduates will acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills that meet the growing market and environmental demand for specialists fields involved in the implementation and development of solutions relating to sustainable development, a low-carbon economy, as well as environmental protection in the agri-food sector. They will possess the knowledge necessary to identify the potential for implementing pro-environmental solutions and will be able to propose changes to optimise the performance of entities in the agri-food sector in this regard. The economics and social sciences modules included in the programme support the development of competencies and readiness to apply management solutions for the implementation of the entire process of a pro-environmental project (from identifying the needs and expectations of key stakeholders, through the development of a communication plan, internal organisational changes and a marketing strategy, project preparation, securing co-funding, through to managing environmental changes within organisations).
The course comprises 181 hours of teaching. Classes will take place from October 2026 to June 2027, comprising 10–11 Saturday–Sunday sessions. Up to 50% of the classes may be delivered remotely.
The skills and knowledge acquired during the course of study are useful in roles such as specialist/ sustainable development programme manager in the agri-food sector, sustainable development adviser in the agri-food sector, climate specialist/analyst in the agri-food sector, sustainable development project manager in the agri-food sector.
Graduation
The procedure and conditions for completing postgraduate studies, as set out in the Regulations on Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences :
– Successful completion/passing of examinations in all subjects covered by the programme
– The final degree classification is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the marks obtained in the examinations and assessments for each individual subject studied

Admissions procedure
Submission of documents: documents must be submitted by 30 September 2026 via the Online Student Recruitment System (IRK)
Admission to degree programmes is open and takes place on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the submission of a complete set of documents.
Required documents:
– application for admission to the degree programme,
– personal questionnaire,
– a transcript or a copy of the degree certificate, certified by the university, entitling the holder to undertake postgraduate studies. If the candidate has graduated from a higher education institution abroad, they must submit the original degree certificate and its translation into Polish, certified by an authorised institution, as well as a document confirming the recognition of the degree or a certificate of exemption from the recognition procedure.
– proof of payment for tuition fees, covering at least the first semester in the case of payment in two instalments, or payment in full in the case of a one-off payment.
