Horticulture improves people’s life quality
We teach specialists with a broad professional profile and comprehensive knowledge – general and specialized. We teach professionals.
As the study programme includes elements of horticulture’s connection with the environment and urban areas, you can also work in design offices, urban greening companies and similar. Sustainable Horticulture graduates are prepared to run their own businesses in the horticultural sector: nurseries for ornamental trees and shrubs and fruit plants, berry plantations, orchard, ornamental and vegetable production, companies offering green services in public and private spaces, horticultural consultancy and garden establishment.
You will gain the opportunity to develop competence in interior decoration, wedding decoration design and floristry.
You will be able to work in professional associations, scientific and research institutions as a specialist, raw material and cosmetic laboratories, education at various levels.

Diploma of the first-level studies on plants (Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture, etc.) in the field of environmental protection;- diploma of related field of the first cycle studies, for which the effects of education are convergent with the learning outcomes expected of the candidates; if the convergence is incomplete, the student will be obliged to supplement the competence gaps by completing the subjects specified during the interview, in an amount not exceeding 30 ECTS, which is the limit of admissible discrepancy (Candidates permanently living outside Poland, who cannot come personally to interview, will be qualified on the basis of the documentation attached to the Candidate Service System);
- in the case of the number of candidates exceeding the admission limit the average grade from first-cycle studies is taken in to account; • confirmed knowledge of English language;

Syllabus
An academic course syllabus is a document that contains the plan and programme of study for a particular course. It is created by the person teaching and made available at the beginning of the semester. Its purpose is to provide clear guidelines for the subject, to help those studying to understand the expected outcomes, the organisation of the course and to enable assessment of learning progress. Amongst other things, the person teaching the course provides information about the compulsory literature, the planned colloquia and the form of credit.
