Tutoring and mentoring for students and postgraduates at SGGW

Academic tutoring and Mentoring are forms of personalised learning. They involve placing the students/doctoral candidates at the focus, recognising their potential and adapting the learning process to individual needs, interests and expectations.

Both of these forms, although different, are based on a master-pupil partnership. The tutoring or mentoring process lasts for one semester, it is up to 10 individual meetings per semester with the selected person. During this time, you work on objectives defined together. During the process, both parties work on jointly defined goals. The result can be the acquisition of specific skills, the preparation of an article or project work.
