Internships at the LEED Programme, OECD
The LEED Programme is looking for interns for a period of 4-6 months starting ideally in the autumn of 2023. We would like to ask you to help spread the word and share the job descriptions attached and below with your networks.
Note that OECD internship programmes are open to students enrolled in a full-time education programme, pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree and have an excellent command for English (with potential other language skills requested). The selected interns will get the opportunity to support the LEED team and work in one or more of the following projects (for more information see the job descriptions attached).
Volunteering sector and local development
– This internship will involve working with the LEED Programme’s ‘Practitioner in residence’ to build the international evidence base on the voluntary sector and local development, connect local development practitioners around the world and support the Local Development Forum more broadly. Strengthening the governance of the Swedish skills system
– The project will include work on mapping and analysing the existing skills governance system in Sweden, exploring European and International best practices in the field of skills governance, and identifying recommendations for enhancing the skills governance system in Sweden

Strengthening cross-border labour market integration of third-country nationals in the Greater Copenhagen Region
– The project will include work on identifying administration and regulatory solutions to facilitate cross-border movement of third-country nationals within the region and identify ways to improve coordination and information exchange on employment and skills policies in the cross-border region.

Developing public employment services for economically inactive people in Poland
– The purpose of the project is to support the implementation of new Polish legislation with respect to identifying, contacting and activating economically inactive persons through reviewing both the current Polish situation, as well as learning from international good practices.

Social and solidarity economy (SSE)
– The internship will involve working with the Social Economy and Innovation team to continue building evidence on the SSE across countries using quantitative and qualitative data, support the development of analytical reports and policy briefs on specific SSE issues. DEADLINE 11 AUGUST
