Dr R. Popek presented the results of a study of the accumulation of particulate matter by vegetation on sound barriers at the MedGU 22 conference. The research is carried out within the framework of the NCN – SONATA 16 project he directs, entitled ‘The Future of the Research. “Air pollutants in the roadside environment of large cities: phytoremediation of microplastics, particulate matter and heavy metals and their effects on vegetation and insects”.
