Urban Regeneration and Sustainability - 3rd Edition
Dr Robert Popek i Dr. Arkadiusz Przybysz participated in the Urban Regeneration and Sustainability (URS) – 3rd Edition conference in Tirana
(Albania). During the conference, they presented two lectures on the results of research on the accumulation of particulate matter and heavy metals by the
Trees, shrubs and flower meadows in Warsaw.
The research is being carried out within the framework of the National Science Center’s SONATA 16 project titled ”
Air Pollution in the Roadside Environment of Large Cities: Phytoremediation of microplastics, particulate matter and heavy metals and their effects on vegetation and insects
“.
Students of the Faculty of Horticulture also took part in the research: Katarzyna Cieślak, Katarzyna Krysztowiak, Paweł Kulesza, Przemysław Sabat
and doctoral student Adam Nawrocki.
