Professor Piotr Latocha conducts research into development of innovative MiniKiwi fruit sorting technology

Variety creator MiniKiwi ‘Bingo’ (Aktinidia arguta), Dr. Piotr Latocha Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Dendrology at the Institute of Horticultural Sciences, leads research into the development of an innovative technology for fruit harvesting and post-harvest handling.

Projekt “Development of an optimal post-harvest technology for minikiwi fruit and a prototype of a module that non-invasively sorts fruit by their degree of ripeness” is co-financed by the European Union under the “Cooperation” measure of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.
