A visit by Prof. Carl Motsenbocker
From 15 to 19 April 2024. The Department of Vegetable and Medicinal Plants again hosted Professor Carl Motsenbocker from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU), USA, as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The Professor’s first visit took place in 2021.
The professor gave 8 hours of lectures in the subjects Sustainable Horticulture, Applied Aspects of Urban Greening and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, for students studying Horticulture and Urban Horticulture and Arboriculture.
The professor visited the Department’s laboratories and greenhouses as well as the company VegaPol, a leading producer of greenhouse vegetables in Poland (pictured).
